With only 48 hours before the event, the Committee is pleased to unveil the noveleties sure to please supporters, techies and nature lovers.

Attend all games with the new standing-room only ticket package for $199 taxes included, on sale today at the 2012 MasterCard Memorial Cup ticket counter.
“We want a lively atmosphere to settle over the Centre Bionest. To those reluctant to join in, it is not too late. They can still attend the best major junior hockey ever,” mentions Daniel Milot, General Manager of the Organizing Committee.

“ Come get your tree! ” – the Green Cup
“The collaboration of serveral organizations allows us to offer free of charge 1000 young tree shoots to people in the region. We invite the population to pick up the shoots and plant them. They will commemorate the passage of the MasterCard Memorial Cup in Shawinigan and will offset greenhouse gas emissions released during the tournament, ”emphasizes the Director of the Green Cup Committee, Mario Clermont.

Activities Open to the Public
“The tournament is a series of free activities,” says Luc Arvisais, Director of the Festivities and Events Committee. To inaugurate the event, everyone is invited to the MasterCard Memorial Cup arrival parade on May 17 at Veterans Park in Shawinigan. The Canadian Forces and several renowned dignitaries will be in attendance.

Stanley Cup & Living Legends in Town
The Hockey Hall of Fame in Shawinigan not only has prestigious artifacts but also exclusivities. On-site, living legends will engage in autograph sessions. Meet Guy Lafleur, Bobby Rousseau, Yvon Lambert, Yvan Cournoyer and several others. Check our programming to find out when they will be appearing. Also, in the afternoon on May 23 until May 24, one of the most coveted trophies in the world will await you at the Hall of Fame: the Stanley Cup! The Hockey Hall of Fame will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Espace Shawinigan from May 18 to May 27. Adults $ 7, students $5, children 12 years or under free.
