Knights prepare for Championship Final

After finishing the 2012 MasterCard Memorial Cup round-robin with a 2-1 record the London Knights earned a direct bye to the Championship Final on Wednesday night when the defending champion Saint John Sea Dogs defeated the Shawinigan Cataractes.

Since then the host Cataractes have won two straight games beating the WHL Champion Edmonton Oil Kings 6-1 in a Tie-Breaker contest on Thursday, followed by a 7-4 win over the Sea Dogs in the Semi-Finals on Friday night to set-up Sunday’s Championship Final against the Knights. 

Meanwhile the Knights have been resting since their last round-robin game on Tuesday night and have had the opportunity to fine-tune their game in practices and enjoy team building activities away from the rink.
